One big and many small goals

Hi everyone! I am so happy to say I achieved my weekly workout goal. It is always great feeling when you know you accomplished something, and sometimes goals like lose 10, 15 or 20 pounds or get stronger, run marathon and etc can be far away goal. The best way to stay on track and even motivated is to cut the big goal in many small ones. 

Caos svima! Veoma mi je drago da mogu da se pohvalim da sam ispunila ovonedeljni izazov. Uvek je lep osecaj da si uspeo u necemu, posebno kada imate jedan veliki cilj poput smrsati 10, 20, 30kg, zategnuti se, spremiti se za maraton i slicno - svi ti ciljevi nisu nedostizni ali zahtevaju puno vremena. Najbolji nacin da ostanete motivisani jeste da jedan veliki cilj podelite u mnostvo malih.



In previous post I mentioned my overall goal I want to achieve with this journey - getting strong and in shape so I can get certified for fitness (pilates and yoga to be more specific) & nutrition. Today, anyone can get the certification but it doesn't feel right if I am not the example for somebody who is following me, right?

U prethodnom postu sam vam pomenula moj glavni cilj ove avanture - zelim da dostignem odredjen nivo fizicke snage i naravno da oblikujem telo kako bih mogla da se sertifikujem za fitness&nutrition trenera (posebno za pilates i jogu). Tacno je da danas svako moze da dobije taj sertifikat, ali nije mi pravi osecaj ako mjim stilom i telom nisam primer za ono sto drugi zele da im pomognem u resavanju.

Set the big one and split it into smaller ones

So my biggest goal is to get in great shape in order to be good example when I get my certification. But that is really not something that will happen over night, especially not when I do not want to go for any harsh diet that can possible damage my health, give yo-yo effects or something similar. In order to stay motivated I give myself each week, weekend and sometime even a day a small goal or challenge to achieve :)

Dakle, moj veliki cilj je zapravo da imam takav zivotni stil i izgled koji ce pratiti moju sertifikaciju. Ali svesna sam da se to nece desiti preko noci, posebno ne zbog toga sto ne zelim da sprovodim nikakve stroge i rigorozne dijete koje bi potencijalno narusile moje zdravlje, imale yo-yo efekat i sl. Kako  bih ostala motivisana odlucila sam da svake sedmice, vikenda, a ponekad i dnevno sama sebi postavim manje izazove :)



This week goals are:
  • Have 4 days of workout before weekend (achieved)
  • Make 10.000 steps on Saturday and Sunday 
  • Have at least 2 meatless day (achieved)
  • Go without artificial sweets and sugar for 5 days in row
Ovo nedeljni izazovi su:
  • Odraditi 4 treninga pre vikenda (ispunjen)
  • 10.000 koraka tokom subote i nedelje 
  • 2 dana bez mesnatih proizvoda
  • 5 dana za redom bez secera i kupovnih slatkisa


It is really exciting to know you did something and you were very successful in it, especially if in past it was giving you problems (like going 5 days without artificial sweets and sugar). And after each week of successul goals I am going to treat myself but not with the food - there are always new nail or lip color we are missing in our purse, right? :)

Zaista je uzbudljivo znati da ipak nesto postizes i dok radis na velikim ciljevima, posebno ako u prethodnom periodu niste bas prihvatali takve izazove (poput 5 dana bez slatkisa). I naravno, sta je ispunjavanje ciljeva ako ne nadjete nacin da se nagradite, ali ne nagrada u vidu hrane - birajte nesto simbolicno poput laka za nokte ili ruza, to nam uvek treba, zar ne? :)

Week #1 workouts:

Monday: 30 min treadmill 
Tuesday: 30 min of treadmill + HCA #1 (link above)
Wednesday: rest
Thursday: 35 min treadmill + abs challenge 
Friday: 45 min treadmill

Ponedeljak: 30min trcanja
Utorak: 30min trcanja + HCA #1 (link iznad)
Sreda: odmor
Cetvrtak: 35min + abs challenge
Petak: 45min trcanja
